Learning English is fun and gives you freedom of movement in the workplace!
Would you like to learn English specific related on your business? For example, to be able to express yourself at work and understand your colleagues? Then this course is for you. We help you so that you can express yourself well in Dutch within your sector and understand colleagues and supervisors well.
Program
Our curriculum focuses on improving the English language that is commonly used in the sector you will be working in. Many specific words and expressions are used in each sector. Depending on your entry level, we train from A2 to B1 level or from B1 to B2 level. In the lessons we cover topics such as entrepreneurship, language in the workplace, speaking with and understanding colleagues and supervisors, writing and reading at work. We pay attention to speaking skills, spelling and listening and, of course, grammar. At the end of the course we test your language level and conclude with a certificate.
Result
The result of sector-specific Dutch training is that you will be able to express yourself well and effectively and have a good understanding of what is meant in different situations in the workplace. Here are some specific skills you will learn:
Communicating:
You learn to talk fluently about work-related topics and participate in conversations without much difficulty.
Comprehension:
You understand industry-specific texts and can extract detailed information from a variety of sources. You learn to read as well as listen comprehensively.
Writing:
You can write clear, detailed texts on topics important in your sector. We conclude with a certificate.
Teaching Method
We work in origin with the recognized teaching method supplemented by our e-learning. This means that all lessons are supported by computer, so you can continue with the material at home. Our teaching method consists of different themes with practical exercises and focuses on everyday situations. You can learn at your own pace. For good results, it is important that you practice a lot at home. You can do that with the learning environment you get from us.
Method
We invite you for an introduction. You can indicate what you expect from us and we indicate what we expect from you. We find it important to pay attention to this, because we want to offer you an education that suits your needs. You will have an intake or language test which will show your language level and the number of lessons you need to take in order to reach your desired language level in speaking and listening/understanding. Together we look at which program suits you best to learn English.
Entry Advice
To participate in the course, we recommend that you have at least language level A2. Do you not have A2 level? Then contact us as well, we will discuss the possibilities to realize your goals as soon as possible.
